Overview
The CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Site Safety Plus training course is designed to introduce those who are considering, or already have, supervisory positions on site. It is endorsed by the United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites and features a broad range of subjects, ranging from the Health and Safety at Work act to the specific day-to-day challenges for supervisors.
Aims and Objectives
This course aims to deliver all the information that site supervisors need to fulfil their legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.
Duration
This is a 2-day course.
Prerequisites
Please note that each delegate is required to bring with them the following: Photo ID, Date of Birth, National Insurance Number and current CITB card (if applicable). Attendees must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.

Certification
Upon successfully completing the course, attendees will be awarded a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate.
Please note: From 7th December 2020, the CITB are no longer sending out hard copy certificates for candidates. You will, therefore, receive your certificate by email, if you complete and pass the course.
