This course is designed for anyone within an organisation who wishes to write with impact and style and say what they want to say. It covers the key skills behind business writing, as well as the barriers to effective communication, and points out a number of common issues in successful writing.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, learners are expected to have a good understanding of both spoken and written English.

Content
The course is divided into three modules:
- The Challenges and Pitfalls of Written Communication
This section looks at the aims of, and barriers to, effective written communication. In addition, it features an opening discussion based on delegates’ completed pre-course questionnaires, as well as a group exercise.
- Key Skills, Stages and Structures of Business Writing
- Use and Knowledge of English
