The course is divided into two parts. The first looks at a number of pieces of legislation, while the second relates these to the workplace and looks at fundamental factors of people management.

In the second part of the course, management issues covered include recruitment, performance management, managing diversity, maternal and paternal leave, dismissals and redundancy.
