Meetings are a fact of life for most people during the working day, and this one day workshop is designed to help participants to make productive use of these meetings, and to take part in a meaningful way. During the course, attendees will gain experience of taking on different roles in each meeting, and learn effective presentation skills and techniques, as well as key skills for chairing meetings and dealing with challenging situations.

During this one-day workshop course, participants will learn that the key skills and techniques to help them be more productive and confident during meetings, and to learn how to chair meetings and deal with challenging situations more effectively. The course is designed to be practical and interactive, and features a number of group exercises.

This course aims to give participants an insight into the rationale and structure of meetings, as well as teaching them the skills to gain impact and confidence during meetings and the ability to chair meetings more effectively.

Prerequisites
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, learners are expected to have a good understanding of both spoken and written English.

Course Benefits
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to identify the role of a meeting facilitator, know how to prepare effectively and participate more confidently in meetings. They will also gain skills in recording key information and using action plans effectively, as well as assertively handling challenging situations.

Learners will be given a Certificate of Attendance on successful completion of the course.
