In this course, participants will present a prepared short training session, which will be followed by study of the need for training within an organisation, a look at teaching theory, and a step-by-step illustration of how to deliver training successfully.

Overview
This course is designed for anyone charged with the responsibility for on-the-job, one-to-one or small group occupational training of any type, giving them the skills and knowledge they need to teach it confidently. The course combines practical work with a study of the theory and practice of teaching, and a look at the necessary steps for delivering training successfully.
Aims and Objectives
This short course offers those involved in the delivery of training within their organisation to understand the basics of the role and to present training professionally and confidently.

This is a 2 day course.
Prerequisites
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, learners are expected to have a good understanding of both spoken and written English.

Course Benefits
By the end of this course, participants will be able to understand the role of a work-based trainer within an organisation, carry out an occupational job analysis, state why and how people learn, produce an occupational training programme, overcome barriers to learning, provide learners with constructive feedback and be able to prepare, deliver and evaluate an occupational training session.
Certification
Learners will be given a Certificate of Attendance on successful completion of the course.
