In this one-day course, we consider the identification and control of risk from dangerous substances as required for compliance with the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR). The course will not only look at the legal duties of globalisation, but also how to assess the risks from dangerous substances and how to control those risks.

Course Overview
This one-day course looks at the requirements of the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR), as well as required duties of employers to protect employees, contractors and others from the risks of fire and explosions related to to dangerous substances stored and used in the workplace.
Aims and Objectives
This course explains the duties that the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR) places on employers and the actions needed to comply with them. It pays particular attention to the assessment of risks and the application of controls to both minimise and mitigate these risks.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, learners are expected to have a good understanding of both spoken and written English.
