Control of Contractors
Companies are often unaware of their responsibility for the health and safety contractors commissioned to carry out work on their site within their jurisdiction. This can cause major problems in the event of an accident involving a contractor where the company has not ensured that the necessary health and safety risk assessments and procedures are in place. In this course, we review the legislation around hiring contractors and civil liability, in order to provide learners with a clear understanding of the requirements of their organisation.
