It looks at the legislation behind basic testing and the qualitative fitness test operator criteria as set out in HSE282/28. PUWER regulations apply to the safe use of any machinery or tools used in the workplace. Asbestos Awareness Outline The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations, lay down the requirements for the protection of people being exposed to asbestos. These regulations include the requirement for those with a responsibility for the maintenance and/or repair of non domestic premises, to identify and manage any risk from asbestos within their premises.

This course aims to empower both individuals in and outside of their work place, it also provides a general awareness of mental health and the types of mental illnesses associated with it.

The aim of the courses is to provide delegates with the necessary knowledge to undertake qualitative face fit testing in line with INDG479 and HSG53. INDG479 is the HSE’s Guidance on respiratory protective equipment (RPE) fit testing and the guide provides information on fit test methods, information on what can be achieved from a fit test and the core information to be included in a fit test report. All training is based on this best practise approach.
