PASMA Scaffold Towers for Users
Assembling, dismantling, moving and using mobile access towers can be a dangerous business, with a high risk of personal injury both to those involved and those nearby. In this course, we look to train delegates to a high level of competence in the assembly, disassembly, inspection and use of these towers . The course also looks at current legislation and guidance, and contains both a written and practical assessment.

Overview
This one-day course is designed to train delegates to a high level of competence in building, using and managing the use of scaffold towers. The course covers a number of areas including legislation, British and European standards, and theory behind tower assembly, before culminating in both written and practical assessment.
Aims and Objectives
This course aims to equip delegates with the confidence and competence they need to operate, inspect and use mobile access towers safely.
Duration
This is a one-day course.
Prerequisites
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, learners are expected to have a good understanding of both spoken and written English.
Candidates are expected to bring the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the course.
- High-visibility vest/jacket
- Hard hat
- Safety Boots
- Rigger Boots
- Safety glasses/goggles
Other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be issued throughout the practical session as required. Stocks of PPE will also be available for purchase if required.

Course Benefits

Certification
A PASMA PhotoCard and Certificate will be issued to successful delegates who complete the theory and practical sessions which have a five year validity period.
