INDG479 is the HSE’s Guidance on respiratory protective equipment (RPE) fit testing and the guide provides information on fit test methods, information on what can be achieved from a fit test and the core information to be included in a fit test report. A lack of manual handling training can have a severe impact on the profitability of the organisation, especially when claims are raised by the injured party. In this course, we consider the practical considerations of manual handling work, looking both at the risk factors around manual handling, as well as basic manual handling techniques and loading limits. The course combines classroom and practical sessions.
