In this course, we look to train delegates to a high level of competence in the assembly, disassembly, inspection and use of these towers . The course also looks at current legislation and guidance, and contains both a written and practical assessment.

This course is designed to outline the legislation around the use of ladders and how to inspect, register and use ladders to protect, inspect and operate safely. In order to take this course, the Ladder Association’s Ladder User Course must have been completed and passed before attempting the Ladder Association’s Ladder Inspection Course you must hold a valid Ladder Association identity card.

From 1st May 2021, this new qualification will be recognised as the standard qualification in health and safety for the non-safety specialist with Fire Safety responsibilities. This is now a standalone qualification and does not require any shared units from the National General Certificate.

A lack of manual handling training can have a severe impact on the profitability of the organisation, especially when claims are raised by the injured party. In this course, we consider the practical considerations of manual handling work, looking both at the risk factors around manual handling, as well as basic manual handling techniques and loading limits. The course combines classroom and practical sessions.
