Driver CPC Training

This course is aimed at LGV and PCV drivers, as well as other staff who wish to gain a good understanding of basic first aid.

This course is designed to look briefly at all aspects of the driver CPC Syllabus ensuring that drivers meet their legal obligations and having an understanding of their own working time regulations. Please be aware that covering all aspects of the syllabus is a legal requirement.

The first part of this course is aimed at those who need to give signals to drivers or receive signals to aid in the safe manoeuvring of vehicles. The second part of this course looks at injuries caused by manual handling and the significant number of accidents and lost time working in the workplace.

As the name suggests, this course focuses on the changes that are being made to our motorway network to reduce congestion, make road journeys safer, more reliable and more efficient. The course is a full day and is approved for both “C” and “D” category license holders.

The first part of this course looks at the driver including how personal lifestyle choices can impact on your ability to act in a professional manner. The course also looks at the driver’s role in positioning and securing items to a vehicle to comply with current best practice and industry guidelines.
