City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition Update

This is an update course for all candidates with the City and Guilds 2382-15 (3rd Amendment, Yellow Version of The 17th Edition course) wanting to gain the 18th Edition course 2382-18. All Candidates wishing to complete this course will need to provide proof of Certification, via scan/photocopy of your City and Guilds certificate prior to Booking Confirmation. This update course will run as a 1 day update and the course will be constructed on the 18th Edition updates only.

City & Guilds 2382-18 18th Edition Update Course

This new 18th Edition update course qualification will officially be known as the Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018.

The aim of the 18th Edition Update Course is to update your existing knowledge of the Wiring Regulations and inform you of the changes made from the 17th Edition Amendment 3 to the 18th Edition. This 18th Edition qualification will be essential if you want to join a Government Approved Part P Scheme Provider, such as NICEIC, or if you need to update your existing qualification before your next annual on site assessment for your part p scheme provider.

Our 18th Edition Update Course includes the following:

  • Introduction to the qualification
  • The role the Wiring Regulations play in the industry
  • BS7671:2018 structure, design and how to use it
  • Explanation and guidance of the numbering systems
  • Parts 1 through 7 of the Wiring Regulations book

Similar courses

This qualification is designed for tradespeople, or qualified electricians, who work in the electrical industry and are involved in meeting the requirements for electrical installations, to BS7671. Essentially, you will want to make sure if you are working in electrical installation that you are designing and installing to the latest regulations. In fact, every installation from January 2019 will need to be designed in line with the 18th Edition wiring regulations.
