City & Guilds 2382-22 18th Edition
This qualification is designed for tradespeople, or qualified electricians, who work in the electrical industry and are involved in meeting the requirements for electrical installations, to BS7671. Essentially, you will want to make sure if you are working in electrical installation that you are designing and installing to the latest regulations. In fact, every installation from January 2019 will need to be designed in line with the 18th Edition wiring regulations.

The course will be delivered over 3 days and it is intended to ensure that delegates become knowledgeable about the format, content and applications of the requirements of 18th Edition.

- Definitions
- Assessment of general characteristics
- Protection for safety
- Selection and erection of equipment
- Inspection and testing
- Special installations or locations
Who should attend?
This qualification is designed for individuals involved in any form of electrical work.
Assessment
There is an open book, multiple choice 2 hourexam on the final day. You will be able to take your blue 18th Edition Regulations book (BS 7671) into the exam with you and refer to it if need be.
Additional Extras
All delegates will need to bring with them 18th Edition BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 IET WIRING REGULATION.. OMS can provide this for you for an additional cost of £99 (+VAT).
Certification
Successful delegates receive a nationally-recognised certificate from City & Guilds.
Prerequisites
Delegates should have knowledge of electrical installation and electrical science and principals.
All delegates must be over 16 years old.
