The IOSH Working Safely®course takes a refreshing approach to health and safety training. With a fun and interactive programme, it is an ideal introduction into the importance of health and safety. Jargon-free and engaging, it focuses on everyday knowledge rather than long discussion of legislation.

The IOSH Working Safely®course is designed for all staff who are looking for a general overview of health and safety in the workplace.
Content
Filled with memorable, thought-provoking facts and case studies, this course delivers a programme of interactive learning. Each module of the course is supported with genuine work scenarios that emphasise practical application, as well as interactive games and quizzes to help delegates learn in a fun and informal way.
The course covers the following subjects:
- Introducing working safely
- Defining hazard and risk
- Identifying common hazards
- Improving safety performance
- Protecting our environment.
The final assessment consists of a short multi-format questionnaire with a multiple-choice, hazard-spotting exercise.
Course Benefits
For learners, this course offers an internationally-recognised and respected certification that is recognised by CSCS as equivalent to a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.
Learners will gain knowledge on basic health and safety issues in the workplace, as well as how to identify common hazards, improve safety performance and protect their environment.
Certification
Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Working Safely® certificate on completion.
Prerequisites
No previous training or certification is required for this course. However, learners are expected to have a good understanding of both spoken and written English.
